The research team has given several presentations about the project. Tineke Fokkema spoke about loneliness among older migrants and the PROMISE project at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, the University of Luxembourg, the university of applied sciences in Lausanne, and on the International Day of Older Persons in Amsterdam.
In addition, Milynn Koene presented the findings from her first article on underreporting of loneliness among older adults at Utrecht University. Mirjam Kingma shared at the University of Groningen the results of her second article, which examines the taboo surrounding talking about loneliness within Turkish migrant families in the Netherlands.
