On February 11, Tineke Fokkema gave a guest lecture on the PROMISE-project to students at the Vrije Universiteit. Following this lecture, four multidisciplinary groups of five students, together with Silvia Klokgieters, developed interventions to reduce loneliness among migrants. Their proposals were very diverse, ranging from cooking workshops (see photo) and festivals to ICT lessons. It was great to see how students quickly translated the knowledge from the guest lecture on the PROMISE-project into practical solutions!
